We were at NAIA terminal 3 international departures Aug 17, 2025 for our flight to Egypt and me and my husband are both surprised as to how the price increased on the ECC fee.
Before, as posted in my Foreign Departure from the Philippines post, the pricing originally is:
1st departure ECC Fee – Php 2,880
2nd departure ECC Fee – Php 2,170
3rd departure ECC Fee – Php 2,170
But it has now increased dramatically.
We were getting charged for like 3k+ and we complained like why is it so high? This is our 4th departure this year from the Philippines and we are so surprised with the pricing difference. We explained it to the officer and he changed it to lower cost which is around 2880 around that range,
So basically, it went way up!
I don’t have much comments on this but we are not really happy about this increase.
